Apple Watch Series 8 & SE 2 & Ultra
As usual, Apple Watch is the first to be released. Apple has carried out updates to 3 Lineups to smart watches, they are Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE 2, and the extremely hard-core Apple Watch Ultra.
Apple Watch Series 8 supports body temperature monitoring with a claimed that the accuracy could meet with 0.1 degrees Celsius. Apple also improved women's health features such as menstrual cycle tracking, ovulation tracking, etc. with algorithms based on body temperature monitoring, and the Watch will issue warnings when periods are irregular.
There is also a new feature, it’s car crash detection, which only works while the user is driving. The battery life of Apple Watch Series 8 is around 18 hours like before, which can be extended to 36 hours in Low Power mode that will turn off several features but retain the function of activities tracking and car crash detection.
The affordable Model--Apple Watch SE has an update too, while the classic model- Series 3 will no longer be sold. The new generation of Apple Watch SE upgrades the S8 SiP chipset and also supports car accident detection function, and it’s redesigned the matching case back of nylon composite material. The watch is available in 40mm and 44mm aluminum metal cases, the case design has not been changed, and there is still no AOD always-on display function.
Followed with Apple Watch Ultra, which is the highest-end model in Apple Watch Lineups’ history. The Apple Watch Ultra has a 49mm titanium case with a flat sapphire glass and a display with a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits with an 86-decibel siren. Apple Watch Ultra also supports the tracking function of women's health and car crash detection.
Apple Watch Ultra supports L1+L5 dual-frequency GPS, it supports WR 100 water resistance function which is also called EN 13319 diving certification, and has a water resistance level of 100 meters under the ISO 22810 standard, which can be used for recreational scuba diving and high-speed wading up to a depth of 40 meters sports. Apple has also teamed up with Huish Outdoors to create the Oceanic+ app, which it claims is "a dive computer."
In terms of battery life, the Apple Watch Ultra has a battery life of up to 36 hours, which can be extended to 60 hours through the subsequent low-power mode.
In terms of price, the starting price of Apple Watch SE is RMB￥1999 yuan, the starting price of Apple Watch Series 8 is RMB￥2999, and the price of Apple Watch Ultra is RMB￥6299 yuan - almost same with iPhone’s.
